Kmart Job Descriptions & Salaries
Team Member: You will perform customer service roles in the Home, Kids and Clothing departments of the Kmart store. You will also operate the cash registers. Additionally, you will work in the stock room, receiving products and backfilling products on shelves. Retail experience would be good, but not necessary. You will be trained upon hiring.
Retail Department Manager: You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of over 20 employees. Prior retail leadership experience is required.
Assistant Store Manager: You will be helping the Store Manager in their duties. Demonstrated leadership ability is necessary.
Store Manager: You will have to ensure a positive store culture at your Kmart store where customer service is a priority. You will also be managing the financial performance of the store, promoting strong leadership by coaching and developing the management team and team members and ensuring plans and strategies are effectively employed to increase sales and reduce expenses. A solid background in retail management is required.
Duty Manager: You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store by managing the store and leading the team during the span of trading hours in absence of the Store Manager. Supervisory or team leader experience would be a big plus.
