The Good Guys is an Australian retail store chain that is selling electronic devices. The store chain has stopped operations in New Zealand but is present with its 100 stores in Australia. The first store was opened in Melbourne in 1952 with a different name. Then, the name was changed into “The Good Guys” in 1992 and a rapid extension period started. Eventually, the store chain became so successful that retailer giants including Wesfarmers and JB Hi-Fi competed with each other to acquire The Good Guys. In 2016, JB Hi-Fi outcompeted other companies and acquired The Good Guys. Whitegoods, kitchen appliances, kitchenware, and consumer electronics are sold at the stores of this retailer chain. Today, there are about 100 The Good Guys stores, at which 3,500 employees are currently working.

The Good Guys Job Descriptions & Salaries
Sales Team Member: You will create sales orders and payment links for customers and ensure pay links are actioned. You will work collaboratively with stores to ensure incomplete sales are picked up or delivered in a timely manner. You should utilise available resources to provide assistance and advice to customers based on the company’s sales model. Moreover, you should provide customers with timely responses to telephone-based requests and effective resolution of complaints.
Warehouse Team Member: You will be expected to perform any number of duties including receiving goods from suppliers, coordinating customer pick-up and delivery, and managing inventory levels. Meanwhile, you should be optimising warehouse space and ensuring the accuracy of invoicing and record-keeping. You will also play a critical role in store compliance by managing stocktakes and ensuring safe working practices in the use of equipment and machinery.
Administration Team Member: You will be performing any number of duties including cash handling, invoicing, stock transfers, reconciling and stock taking, and resolving customer queries.
